MagNet Plug-in for SPEED
Engineers and designers who use SPEED can now combine it's advanced CAD functions with the powerful low frequency electromagnetic calculations of MagNet.
The plug-in is used with SPEED's GoFER (Go Finite Element and Return) functions and works with MatchFE and it's extensive design calculations.
The requirement to parameterize a static solution to account for different positions of certain components (e.g. for an electrical motor, the different positions of the rotor) has been eliminated. Instead, you can now use MagNet's Transient 2D with Motion solver, which produces a much faster solution for these types of problems.
