Magnetostatic 3D solver
The Magnetostatic 3D solver finds the magnetostatic field in and around specified current distributions that are in the presence of linear (isotropic or anisotropic) or non-linear (isotropic) magnetic materials. In addition, each material may have a specified coercivity and direction of magnetization, thus allowing for the modeling of permanent magnets. The specified currents may flow through any type of material, including magnetic materials.
Devices modeled in 3D may be constructed of complex shapes and complex shaped solid or stranded coils. Coils are added to the model at a user-specified position and orientation once the material model has been built.
