Electrostatic Module

Simulates static electric fields produced by specified DC voltages and charge distributions.

Current Flow Module

Simulates the static current densities produced by specified DC voltages on electrodes in contact with conducting material.

Time Harmonic Electric Fields Module

Simulates the time-harmonic electric fields produced by specified AC voltages. The analysis is at one frequency, and uses phasors (complex numbers) to represent fields. Electro-quasi-static analysis: induced currents and wave effects are neglected.

Transient Electric Fields Module

Simulates the time varying electric fields produced by specified voltages that vary arbitrarily in time. The analysis involves time-stepping from one instant to the next, over the time frame of interest. Electro-quasi-static analysis: induced currents and wave effects are neglected.

ElecNet's simulation modules are available uniquely or in any permutation required by our users for their specific needs. These modules are well tested and compute results accurately and efficiently.

All simulation modules come in two varieties

  • Two dimensional model approximation (2D)
  • Three dimensional (3D)
