Free Add-Ons are scripts, forms and event handlers provided to users of our software at no charge. These resources are available in our Online Customer Support Center (OCSC). Maintained clients can click here to see the full set of add-ons available. Below are a few examples which demonstrate the power of scripting.

Batch Submit Utility

This standalone program allows users to start up and solve several models in an unattended mode. Users specify which models, software and simulation type to use, and can also set delayed execution times as well as other options.

Curve Interpolator Form

This form allows users to input several coordinate pairs and choose one of several line interpolations to be drawn. The number of line segments used is set in the form. Supports Bezier, Nth Polynomial Interpolation, Polynomial Functions B-Splines.

Maximum Field Value Detection

Once the simulation is complete, this script detects and creates an annotation to show where the maximum field values of the shaded plot field are located.

Automatic Report Generation

This script works with MagNet and Microsoft Word©. Once MagNet has completed the simulation, a report is automatically generated in Word that contains a screen capture of the model as well as all of the default quantities and values determined by MagNet.
