Infolytica's 3D Geometric Modeler is the electromagnetics designer's answer to sculpting a 3-dimensional model from one solid body, or piecing together a number of geometric components, extruded in arbitrary directions, into one device. Either way, our Geometric Modeler will help produce accurate analytical results.
The desired effects of geometric modeling are achieved by various combinations of:
- Boolean operations (Union, Subtract, and Intersect) on components or slicing planes
- Reordering of components
- Toggling of a component's visibility
- Disabling a component so that it is not used for generating the mesh.
- Rendering of the 3D mesh of elements -- Infolytica's simulation software utilizes the Finite Element Method (FEM) to accurately model and predict the results of each field within these elements.
Additionally, SAT files can be easily imported into any Infolytica product and, as demonstrated in the 3D Geometric Modeler mesh generator examples, produce a more than satisfactory mesh.
