February 14, 2007
Products
Latest 32-bit and 64-bit versions of MagNet, ElecNet and ThermNet just released
We are pleased to announce that MagNet 6.23, ElecNet 6.15 and ThermNet 1.13 are now available for download.
Major improvements made to the software include the following:
The second and third order finite elements, in 3D, have been upgraded to provide greater accuracy in modeling currents in solid conducting regions Improvements in memory management have made the opening of models and the viewing of fields noticeably faster Several new "steel material libraries" have been added Added "Annulus" refinement region control for 2D (useful for air gaps) Significant speedups in all our solvers, in particular when using p-adaption Added electric and demagnetization prediction fields to MagNet

Seminars
Electromagnetics and Electric Motors
The seminar will consist of two separate sessions and will be presented prior to the 2007 Magnetics Conference, on April 3, 2007, in Chicago, Illinois. Session 1 (Electromagnetic Design Software) is of a general nature and will provide a quick introduction to our software products, highlighting several key features and analysis capabilities. Session 2 (Electric Motor Design and Analysis) deals with a more specific application and will be of most interest to designers of electrical machines. This part of the seminar will include a demonstration of MotorSolve, Infolytica’s innovative motor design software, as well as MagNet. More information is available here. To register, please complete and return the following form. Seats are limited. You can also register or request more information by email info@infolytica.com or call 514-849-8752.
