Trajectory Evaluator Assistant 2.0 released
Useful new functionality has been added to this module that simulates the trajectory of a particle over time:
- Relativistic effects, which were previously ignored, are now taken into account -- these effects are a factor when dealing with particles moving at, or near, the speed of light.
- Another new feature of the Assistant is that a coefficient of viscosity, also known as drag, can be added to the particle.

MagNet Plug-in for SPEED upgraded to version 1.1
This upgrade to MagNet Plug-in for SPEED eliminates the requirement to parameterize a static solution to account for different positions of certain components (e.g. for an electrical motor, the different positions of the rotor). Instead, you can now use MagNet's Transient 2D with Motion solver, which produces a much faster solution for these types of problems.
The year in review
This review recaps some of the more significant improvements we've made to our product group, which includes, but is not limited to, our migration towards developing 64-bit versions of MagNet, ElecNet, and ThermNet. Find out more...

Case Studies 3D
The newest addition to our growing case studies / tutorials section outlines the steps involved in the modeling of a 3D non-destructive testing/evaluation (NDT/NDE) problem. Highlighted in this study are the differences between modeling & analysis of 2D and 3D models, using the model based on the WFNDEC Eddy Current Benchmark #2 case.
