MagNet 6.19
This new version of MagNet delivers more capabilities in both 3D circuit and 3D motion remeshing.
Note For users of MagNet Plug-in for PSIM, a slight modification was made to the
Plug-in for compatibility reasons. If you are upgrading to MagNet 6.19, we highly recommend that you also upgrade to version 1.1 of MagNet Plug-in for PSIM.Actuator with diode
This actuator example demonstrates the power of a fully integrated 3D solver that simultaneously solves:
- circuit equations
- field equations on the finite element mesh
- equations of motion
MagNet Plug-in for Simulink®
Our latest addition to the Plug-in family of products, the MagNet Plug-in for Simulink® enables co-simulation capabilities between MagNet, Infolytica's low frequency electromagnetic simulation software, and Simulink®, MathWorks' platform for multidomain simulation and model-based design of dynamic systems. Together, these software applications provide the ideal combination for designers working on time-varying systems requiring precise electromagnetic calculations. Take a look at this Gallery example below to see what we mean:
IPM Motor with velocity feedback vector control
This Gallery page demonstrates the use of the MagNet Plug-in for Simulink® in a co-simulation that simulates the vector control of an Interior Permanent Magnet (IPM) Brushless DC motor. This co-simulation involves running both MagNet and Simulink® transient solvers, with a continuous data exchange between the two to keep the shared quantities (voltage and currents) synchronized.Click here to go to our Download page.
