Training courses

Full Field Views Using Partial Solutions

This example demonstrates how users can view a full solution field even though the model is only partially solved using symmetry boundary conditions. The script that was used to create this example can be downloaded from the Free Add-ons section of our web site.

Case hardening of a bearing raceway

This is an example of the hardening of a raceway for a bearing, using the coupled solving capabilities of MagNet and ThermNet.

Lightning Arrester Simulation

The surge arrester example presented on this page is based on a document from the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)-- "Guide for the determination of voltage distribution along the length of metal-oxide surge arresters". The ElecNet simulation results were compared to some results provided in this document.
