Design, Construction and Measurement of the SRRC sextupole Magnets

The field computation and fabrication of sextupole magnets have been made for SRRC storage ring. In addition to its fundamental sextupole magnet, the magnet also provides a horizontal or vertical dipole correcting coils for steering the beam to the closed orbit. The two dimensional field distributions of sextupole and dipole are calculated by "MAGNET" program. The magnetic core is assembled by six stacked sections. The mechanical features of the magnet are described. The results of field requirements are described. The results of field requirement are described. The results of field measurement achieve the deviation of integrated sextupole field within +- 2 x 10-3 in 30 mm bore radius region.
