On Automatic Mesh Generation using Kohonen MapsThis paper presents the use of Kohonen self-organizing maps for automatic mesh generation. Previous algorithms are improved by adding a new search algorithm and boundary treatment. The results of small geometrical examples are shown. Investigations into parameter variations support the discussion about advantages and disadvantages of this method. |
