Infolytica Europe
Infolytica Europe is responsible for the promotion, sales, and support of MagNet, ThermNet, OptiNet, ElecNet and MotorSolve throughout Europe. To assist in this endeavour, we are pleased to have the help of Weidmann Electrical Technology and iCapture.dk who act as agents for Infolytica.
We are located at the Culham Science Centre, near Oxford which as you may know is the home of the JET (Joint European Torus) project for the generation of power using controlled nuclear fusion. The centre also has excellent conference facilities and a state-of-the-art lecture theatre.
Growth In Europe
In 2007, Infolytica Europe has started to expand its European operation. In May 2007 the Directors appointed Dr Cris Emson as the new Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Europe. At the start of 2009, Prof Ernie Freeman retired as Managing Director of Infolytica Europe. He remains on the Board of Directors, but has handed over the day to day running of the European office to Cris Emson (who now becomes the CEO).
Ernie Freeman is one of the co-founders of Infolytica (along with David Lowther and Peter Sylvester) in 1978. After more than 30 years, the company is still prospering, and we all wish Ernie a long and restful retirement.
As part of the growth in Europe, we are also pleased to be appointing iCapture.dk as an Agent for Infolytica in Scandinavia. This is a new company, formed in 2009, with the objective of providing technical and management consulting focused on multiphysic electromagnetic, vibroacoustic and structural dynamic/static product development & simulation.
